Elevating the Visibility of Research Excellence
The University of Denver’s Public Impact Fellow (PIF) program prepares faculty to engage with a more general audience around their scholarship and research. Participants learn how to bring greater awareness to the meaningful research they are doing individually and that is taking place collectively throughout the university.
Crafting a message, writing opinion articles, working with policymakers, media interview training, social media, and book marketing are many of the different workshops faculty participate in during the yearlong program. The goal is to help participants develop their strategic approach to showcasing the public and broader impacts of their research.
