The Professional Psychology Clinic (PPC) is not only a community resource, but also an essential student training center. We have provided low cost, high-quality psychological services to the Denver and surrounding communities for over 40 years, including psychotherapy, psychological and cognitive assessment, and forensic services. 

Staffed by doctoral students under the supervision of licensed mental health professionals, we provide cutting-edge, LGBTQIA-affirming, culturally sensitive services that are carefully tailored to meet each client's individual needs.

What kind of challenges can the PPC help me with?

We are here to help with the mental health struggles you might be facing, including:

  • Difficulty managing depression or anxiety
  • Coping with or adjusting to life stresses and changes
  • The need for support or guidance during a time of grieving
  • Relationship problems you are unable to resolve
  • Difficulty managing mood fluctuations
  • A general lack of mental health support

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How much do PPC services cost?

    Fees for our services are determined on a sliding scale and are based on patient income and financial circumstances.

  • Who is providing/supervising my therapy?

    Our therapists are master's- or doctoral-level students who are supervised by licensed psychologists or psychotherapists. You'll be assigned a therapist based on what type of therapy you are looking for and the availability of the student therapist and supervisor.

  • Where do counseling sessions take place?

    For most of our clinics and services, we're on the garden level of the Ammi Hyde Building. There is street parking and/or we'll give you a parking pass to lots 119 and 121.
